Equipment for testing the airtightness of cast wheels, in particular cast light metal wheels, comprising a test machine (1), a telescope (2), a water tank (3), an engine (4) to drive a rotational motion of a cast wheel (5) and a holder (6), with:the water tank is equipped with a weight recording device (7) on the ground, which is designed to measure a water level in the water tank,a first alarm device (8) is provided at the exterior of the water tank, the first alarm device (8) is connected to the weight recording device (7),the holder (6) is equipped with a liquid recording device (9),the liquid recording device (9) is designed to detect whether the holder (6) is in contact with water,the test machine (1) is equipped with a second alarm device (10); andthe second alarm device (10) is connected to the liquid recording device (9).
