To provide an on-vehicle DC-AC inverter capable of suppressing temperature rise in switching elements.SOLUTION: An ON-vehicle AC-DC inverter includes an H bridge circuit and a control unit. The control unit turns on a first switching element Q1 in a state where a fourth switching element Q4 is in an on-state so as to obtain a state where a current flows in one direction, and turns off the first switching element Q1 from this state. The control unit subsequently turns on a second switching element Q2 so as to obtain a zero-bolt output. The control unit turns on a third switching element Q3 in a state where the second switching element Q2 is in an on-state so as to obtain a state where a current flows in an inverse direction, and turns off the third switching element Q3 from this state. The control unit subsequently turns on the fourth switching element Q4 so as to obtain a zero-bolt output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
