PURPOSE: A DC/AC inverter overload protecting device and DC/AC inverter with the same are provided to protect a product from an overload. CONSTITUTION: An SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)(10) converts a DC input voltage into a switching pulse. An H-bridge unit(30) converts a DC voltage into an AC voltage. A voltage detecting unit(50) detects the voltage level of an AC voltage outputted from an H-bridge unit. A PWM IC(60) varies the duty of a PWM pulse by comparing a detected voltage of the voltage detecting unit with a preset reference voltage. A photo coupler(70) transfers a PWM pulse outputted from the PWM IC.
