ONLINE CHECKING APPARATUS FOR GAS DENSITY RELAY AND ONLINE CHECKING METHOD THEREOF

An online checking apparatus for a gas density relay (1) and an online checking method thereof. The online checking apparatus comprises a gas density measurement sensor, a normally open valve (4), a normally closed valve (11), a multi-way connector (9), a gas source generation unit (5), an online checking contact signal sampling unit (6), and an intelligent control unit (7). A gas pressure fluctuation achieved by means of the normally open valve (4), the normally closed valve (11), and the gas source generation unit (5) causes the gas density relay (1) to perform a contact signal action, the contact signal action is transmitted to the intelligent control unit (7) by means of the online checking contact signal sampling unit (6), and the intelligent control unit (7) measures a contact signal action value and/or return value of the gas density relay (1) according to a density value during the contact signal action, so that the checking work of the gas density relay (1) can be completed without needing a maintainer on the scene, thus improving the reliability of a power grid, increasing the efficiency, and reducing costs. Moreover, in the whole checking process, checking is performed without using the gas of an electrical device, and the gas source required for checking is provided by the gas source generation unit (5), thereby achieving environmental protection, safety, and economy.
