Articles and methods relating to the manufacture and use of uneven abrasive articles, such as abrasive wheels and handpads, having low shaded rates and achieving high grinding ratios.The abrasive article includes a blend of a plurality of primary abrasive particles and a plurality of intensified abrasive particles disposed on a non woven web substrate.The primary abrasive particles have an average particle diameter greater than the average fiber diameter of the base fiber, and the enhanced abrasive particles have an average particle size smaller than the average fiber diameter.
