The video conference implementation method comprises: determining the type of terminal participating in a video conference; and when the terminal participating in the video conference comprises a single stream terminal, determining a video synthesis end, and sending the synthesized code stream generated by the video synthesis end to the single stream terminal, wherein the synthesized code stream is synthesized according to the original code stream of the terminal participating in the video conference.
