Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for evaluating the risk of recurrence of a urinary tract infection. The method for evaluating the risk of recurrence of a urinary tract infection according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of capturing a renal scintigraphy image of a patient with a urinary tract infection, and a degree of cortical uptake deficit of the kidney from the captured image. Calculating (degree of cortical uptake defect) and evaluating the risk of recurrence of urinary tract infection based on a predictive factor for recurrence of urinary tract infection including the calculated degree of cortical uptake defect.
