The present invention relates to a contrast medium composition for the diagnosis of astrocytosis, the detection of reactive astrocytes, and the acquisition of an image of brain tumor margins. The present invention provides image information on various diseases accompanying excessive proliferation or activation of astrocyte and, particularly, provides highly reliable information on the margins between a lesion area and a surrounding normal area by presenting an exact location of a dense area of these cells. Therefore, the present invention can be helpfully used as a diagnostic image for guiding surgical resection of, particularly, a brain tumor or the like, in real time.
