Novel Porcine circovirus type 2 virus and uses thereof

The present invention relates to a novel porcine circovirus type 2 virus (PCV2) domestic isolate KCTC 13839BP. The present invention is a isolate of a swine circovirus type 2 field strain that is recently prevalent in Korea, and the field isolate has low neutralization efficiency for the current vaccine, and can effectively neutralize different PCV2 genotype viruses. It is expected to be widely applied as a more effective vaccine against the recently prevalent field virus, as well as a vaccine composition that can be applied to all genotypes of PCV2, a therapeutic agent, and a diagnostic agent.
