An anti-fibroblast growth factor receptor 4 antibody, and a preparation method and application thereof, relating to a specific anti-fibroblast growth factor receptor 4 antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. The anti-fibroblast growth factor receptor 4 antibody has three heavy chain complementary determining regions (CDR) shown as SEQ ID NO:18, SEQ ID NO:19, and SEQ ID NO:20, and has three light chain complementary determining regions shown as SEQ ID NO:26, SEQ ID NO:27, and SEQ ID NO:28. The present invention also relates to a nucleotide sequence, which is characterized in: encoding a monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof of the anti-human fibroblast growth factor receptor 4, and an application of the monoclonal antibody as a detection reagent. The antibody has the advantages of high sensitivity, good specificity and the like.
