The present invention relates to a vertical high-concentration ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment device and a treatment process therefor. The treatment device integrates a short-cut nitrification reactor, an anaerobic ammonium oxidation reactor, and a traditional nitrification and denitrification reactor into a vertical combination, and circulates and is in communication with an ultrafiltration membrane tank. The treatment process comprises the following steps: successively subjecting wastewater to an anaerobic ammonium oxidation treatment section, a denitrification treatment section, a short-cut nitrification treatment section, a nitrification treatment section and the ultrafiltration membrane tank, and nitrifying ammonia nitrogen to nitrite in the short-cut nitrification treatment section; then partially refluxing the wastewater containing nitrite to generate nitrogen and nitrate with ammonia nitrogen from the fresh wastewater under the action of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria; scrubbing and refluxing the sludge in the ultrafiltration membrane tank, and mixing same with an effluent from the anaerobic ammonium oxidation treatment section; and converting nitrate into nitrite under the action of denitrification bacteria, and further converting into nitrogen for removal. The processing device and process of the present invention use the synergistic effect of nitrite bacteria and anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria, reducing the oxygen supply, external carbon source and alkalinity of the treatment process, simplifying the process, and reducing the number of reaction units.
