A tobacco product disassembly device (20) comprises a casing (30) and a drum (40). A gap (60) is provided between the casing inner circumferential surface and the drum outer circumferential surface. The gap connects an inlet opening (31) and an outlet opening (32). At least one projection that projects toward the drum outer circumferential surface is provided to the portion of the casing inner circumferential surface that is exposed in the gap. A gap minimum value, which is the minimum value of the distance between the casing inner circumferential surface and the drum outer circumferential surface in the gap, is set to a value that is greater than or equal to the diameter dimension of a tobacco product (10) before disassembly, and less than or equal to two times the diameter dimension.
