The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating vascular diseases according to the present invention inhibits the activity of 3-phosphate glycerol dehydrogenase (GPDH) and induces inhibition of triglyceride production in adipocytes, thereby vascular diseases such as hyperlipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia. It is effective in prevention and treatment.
