To provide an optical fiber route search method, an optical fiber route search system, a signal processing device, and a program with which it is possible to extract only a signal generated by an elastic wave having propagated through the air and eliminate the influences of a wall, a support tool, etc.SOLUTION: An optical fiber route search system pertaining to the present invention comprises: a vibration source 304 utilizing a DAS and applying an elastic wave to a prescribed region; a light reflection measuring device 305 connected to one end of an optical fiber 302, for measuring the vibration of an optical path length change from the other end of the optical fiber 302 to each point of the optical fiber 302 due to the elastic wave applied by the vibration source 304; and a signal processing device 313 for extracting a signal component on high frequency side higher than a preset cut-off frequency from a signal of vibration of the optical path length change measured by the light reflection measuring device 305, and calculating a distance between the vibration source 304 and each point of the optical fiber 302 using the signal component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
