PERFORMANCE TESTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR GAS DIFFUSION LAYER OF FUEL CELL

A performance testing device and method for a gas diffusion layer (GDL) of a fuel cell. The performance testing device comprises a base (1); an upper cover (2); a first cavity (10), wherein the first cavity (10) is disposed on the base (1), a drain port (8) is provided on the base (1), and the drain port (8) communicates with the first cavity (10); a second cavity (11), which is disposed on the upper cover (2); a holding assembly used for placing a sample (14) to be tested, the holding assembly being disposed between the first cavity (10) and the second cavity (11); and an infusion assembly. Deionized water is conveyed to the holding assembly by means of the flow-controllable infusion assembly, which may simulate the water retention and drainage environment when the GDL is running in a stack after pretreatment. The water balance performance is measured and calibrated by means of an intuitive single parameter for use in quickly and accurately measuring and evaluating the performance and quality of the GDL after pretreatment.
