PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoover needle assembly having a means for generating a safety lock position by biasing the needle away from the needle aperture to prevent reappearance of the needle tip. A Hoover needle assembly 100 is configured to hold a needle for insertion / withdrawal of a needle into / from an insertion site. The upper body 300 can hold the needle stationary, while the lower body 400 can slidably receive the needle. The lower body can further include a catch, which engages with the needle tip and / or does not align the needle aperture of the lower body with the needle tip and places the assembly in the safety lock position. And prevent any type of bounce, needlestick injury, and / or exposing the needle tip to the environment outside the lower body.
