PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably synthesize a highly dispersible gold nanorod coated with silica without impairing the characteristics of the gold nanorod. SOLUTION: When a NaOH aqueous solution and a TEOS / MeOH solution are added to an AuNR / MeOH aqueous solution and the total volume of the solution is 100, a single gold is used so that the total volume of MeOH is 25 ± 5.
