Composite discs having electrically controllable optical properties, comprising an outer disc (1) and an inner disc (2) connected by a thermoplastic intermediate layer (3), with a PDLC functional element (4) embedded in the intermediate layer (3) and with the intermediate layer (3) contains at least a blue coloured layer of thermoplastic material.
