The present invention relates to a secondary battery negative electrode active material comprising nickel-cobalt-molybdenum oxide, a secondary battery negative electrode including the same, a secondary battery including the secondary battery negative electrode, and a manufacturing method thereof, and nickel-cobalt- The novel negative electrode material for sodium secondary batteries containing molybdenum oxide enables insertion/desorption of sodium ions by intercalation reaction during charging/discharging, so that the structure is stably maintained during repeated charging/discharging, so that the volume change does not occur significantly. As a result, electrode damage and electrical short circuit are reduced, thereby achieving improved electrochemical properties in terms of long life and high rate characteristics. In addition, the novel negative electrode material for a sodium secondary battery containing the nickel-cobalt-molybdenum oxide can be easily synthesized by a simple process such as a one-pot reaction based on a hydrothermal synthesis process, and thus has a simple synthesis process.
