PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine inventory management program and a medicine inventory management method capable of appropriately managing immobile stock items in a pharmacy or a hospital.SOLUTION: A medicine inventory management system executes a dispensing data acquisition step, a final dispensing time information extraction step, and an immobile stock item extraction step. In the dispensing data acquisition step, dispensing data of a prescribed format which can be outputted by a receipt computer for preparing a receipt is acquired. In the final dispensing time information extraction step, final dispensing time information showing a time when dispensing is finally performed is extracted from the acquired dispensing data in each item of medicines. In the immobile stock item extraction step, an immobile stock item is extracted by comparing the final dispensing time information with a first reference period, the immobile stock item being an item which is not dispensed for a period longer than the first reference period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
