PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groundwater level observing device for observing the distribution and water level fluctuation of groundwater by the principle of siphon without using a power source or a power source, an installation method of the groundwater level observing device, and a method of observing the groundwater level. SOLUTION: A groundwater level observation tube 12 which is inserted and installed in a groundwater level observation hole 11 and has a groundwater entry / exit hole 13, a water storage pipe 14 provided below the groundwater level observation tube 12, and the groundwater level observation tube. The water level display tube 19 which is installed away from the water level 12 and has an outside air hole 20 at the upper part, and the opening 16a at one end of the communication tube 16 are immersed in the water of the water storage tube 14, and the water injected into the water level display tube 19 is immersed. The groundwater level observation hole 11 is provided with a communication pipe 16 filled with water and communicated between the groundwater level observation pipe 12 and the water level display pipe 19 by immersing the other end opening 16d of the communication pipe 16.
