PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting coil in which generation of quenching is suppressed. A superconducting coil of an embodiment includes a substrate having a curved surface, a superconducting wire wound on the curved surface and having a first region and a second region facing the first region. A first resin layer containing a plurality of first particles surrounding the superconducting wire and a first resin surrounding the first particles, and a first region located between the first region and the second region. The resin layer is covered with a second resin layer containing a plurality of second particles and a second resin that surrounds the second particles and is made of a material different from that of the first resin.
