As used herein, a potent compound of formula (I), and to inhibit the activity of D-amino acid oxidase (DAAO), or to central nervous system (CNS) disorders, pain, obesity, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia. The use of the compound for treating diseases or disorders associated with DAAO, such as, is provided.
