A set of diagnostically significant indicators is determined: the level of ionized calcium in the blood, the level of parathyroid hormone in the blood, the volume of the tumor according to ultrasound of the parathyroid gland, the patient's gender and age, the presence of complications from the kidneys: chronic kidney disease and/or nephrolithiasis; the presence of complications from the skeletal system: osteoporosis and/or the presence of low-energy fractures; the level of phosphorus in the blood, the largest diameter of the tumor according to the ultrasound of the parathyroid gland. Based on the data obtained, the presence of a benign or malignant tumor of the PTG is determined.;EFFECT: method provides a comprehensive assessment of the course of the disease and the patient's condition, thereby making it possible to achieve accuracy in the differential diagnosis of malignant and benign neoplasms of the thyroid gland by assessing the complex of the most significant indicators.;1 cl, 8 tbl, 2 ex
