Reflector optics for a vehicle retrofit headlight lamp

A reflector optical system (300) for a motor vehicle headlight lamp is provided which has a reflector body (30) which is symmetrical about a longitudinal axis (X) and has a first reflector optical section (32) with a substantially concave shape. The system also has a second reflector optic section (36) along the longitudinal axis. The first reflector optics section (32) faces the second reflector optics section (36) and both each have a plurality of first and second reflective surfaces (35a-35e; 37a-37e). The second reflective surfaces are in direct spatial light receiving relationship with the first reflective surfaces. The assignment of the reflective surfaces has the effect that a light emitted onto the reflector optics (39) is incident on the second reflector optics section (36) in a homogeneously distributed manner. This reduces heat peaks there. The second reflective surfaces (37a-37e) enable a high reflectivity, a homogeneous distribution of the light emission, a cost reduction in the production, and an ECE-compliant construction of the corresponding lamp with the possibility of use in retrofit headlight lamps.
