To implement stable control and to improve workability in selecting a semiconductor switching element by uniformizing partial current charge between multiple PWM converters.SOLUTION: When controlling two PWM converters, a PWM converter control device 1 branches a d-axis current command ithat is generated by a terminal voltage constant controller 10 and a q-axis current command ithat is generated by a bus voltage controller 15 into a first system and a second system. In the first system, a d-axis voltage command vand a q-axis voltage command vare generated and outputted to PWM controllers 21-1a to 21-1c, a gate of a semiconductor switching element of each phase in the PWM converter is turned on/turned off by the PWM converter control device 1. In the second system, a d-axis voltage command vand a q-axis voltage command vare generated and outputted to PWM controllers 21-2a to 21-2c and a gate of a semiconductor switching element of each phase in the PWM converter is turned on/turned off by the PWM converter control device 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
