To provide a steel strip side trimmer which can shear width direction both edges of a steel strip without occurrence of a protrusion on a back face of the steel strip so as not to occur trim indentation flaw on a product surface, a steel strip shearing device, a steel strip shearing method and a steel strip manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A steel strip side trimmer 100 comprises left and right two sets of upper circular blade 11 and lower circular blade 12 which are provided on width direction both sides of a steel strip S transported on a pass line PL, and shear width direction both edges of the steel strip S. The upper circular blade 11 is located on a width direction outer side of the steel strip S with respect to the lower circular blade 12. A tapered surface 12d, which is inclined at a prescribed inclination angle α1 with respect to a axial direction of the lower circular blade 12 so that a diameter of the lower circular blade 12 is gradually reduced as approaching a side face 12b on the upper circular blade 11 side, is formed at an end of an outer peripheral surface 12a of the lower circular blade 12 on the upper circular blade 11 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
