The invention aims at securing people having to perform an intervention on a low voltage branch of an electricity distribution network. The dwellings connected to this branch can include autonomous means of electricity production (PV1, .... PVn) then generating an electric voltage and endangering people during their intervention. A step is then provided for obtaining first data, consumption readings from the meter (C1, ..., Cn) of each dwelling, by regular time steps, and second meteorological data (MET) in the sector. geographic location of these dwellings, at least to identify conditions conducive to the production of energy by independent means. A detection model is then applied, as a function of the first and second data, of a coincidence between periods of drop in consumption measured by a meter and meteorological conditions favorable to the electricity production of the autonomous means during these periods.
