A time and location-based message management method for a network system. Said method comprises: acquiring, by an electronic device, a user account, location information and time information (S410); transmitting the user account, the location information and the time information to a message server (S420); acquiring map information from a map database according to the location information, and selecting, from a display of the electronic device, an area range for displaying the map information (S430); on a display page of the display, taking the user account, the time information and the area range as screening conditions, acquiring, from a user database, a name and a head portrait of a relevant user, and acquiring, from a message database, a message of the relevant user (S440); and according to a sending location of the message, integrally displaying, on the display page, the name, the head portrait and the message of the relevant user (S450).
