A mobile communication terminal having a multimedia message management function, a message management server, a message management system, and a method using the system are provided to store a desired multimedia message of a user by using a message storage of the message management server, thus the multimedia message can be semi-permanently stored regardless of a multimedia message storage capacity of the terminal. As a search request message for a multimedia message is transmitted to a message management server(200), a receiver(140) receives a list message for the multimedia message. A key input unit(110) inputs a search signal for the multimedia message, based on the received list message. A controller(120) determines whether to store the searched multimedia message, according to the search signal. A memory(130) stores the searched multimedia message, according to a control signal of the controller(120). A transmitter(150) transmits a deletion request message for the searched multimedia message to the server(200), according to the control signal.
