Provided is a method for generating a three-dimensional digital model of teeth. The method comprises: scanning patient teeth with a first space ruler inserted into a first adjacent teeth space to obtain a first three-dimensional digital model; extracting the position and direction of the first space ruler from the first three-dimensional digital model; and on the basis of the specification, the position and the direction of the first space ruler, modifying a first adjacent teeth space of an original three-dimensional digital model of teeth to obtain a refined three-dimensional digital model of teeth.
