The present invention relates to a plant of S. beaded lycopene that is resistant to Toba parent virus (Tobamovirus) Com (S. lycopersicum) species, the plant comprises one or more genomic sequences. More specifically, the present invention relates to tomato plants ( S. lycopersicum ) resistant to Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (TBRFV). The present invention also relates to a genomic sequence or locus that provides resistance to tobamovirus. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method of providing a S. lycopersicum plant resistant to tobamovirus.
