A porous formulation storage cushion, formulation delivery systems including porous formulation storage cushions, and methods of additive manufacturing of porous formulation storage cushions are described. In one embodiment, the porous dosage form storage cushion defines a plurality of pores configured to absorb the dosage form, eg, via wicking the dosage form via capillary action. In one embodiment, the plurality of pores are configured to define a capillary force gradient along the length of the porous formulation storage cushion.
