System for selecting seeds by suction through perforations located on the edge of a cylinder made up of two parts B and C which fit into each other and have the same perforations on their respective edges. When these perforations are perfectly superimposed, they provide maximum passage for the air drawn in from the outside to the inside of the cylinder. Depending on the size of the seeds, the operator can reduce the surface of the perforations along two perpendicular xy axes by overlapping the sheets constituting the edges of parts B and C.
