To provide a surgical instrument for supporting the osteotomy and reduction in an acetabulum rotation osteotomy for performing the osteotomy from the inside of a pelvis by invading from the front, and thereby the correct osteotomy and reduction are made possible even as for an inexperienced operator.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument for an acetabulum rotation osteotomy performs the osteotomy from the inside of a pelvis by invading from the front. The surgical instrument is equipped with a cutting auxiliary member having a first fitting surface formed to be consistent with a bone surface shape in the vicinity of the osteotomy position, and a guide unit arranged along the osteotomy position when making the first fitting surface be consistent with the bone surface and formed to guide the cutting along the osteotomy position by a cutting tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
