The developer feed tank comprises a housing for housing a developer, a housing for discharging a developer in fluid communication with the housing for locating a developer, a gear portion and a track. The developer discharge housing has an outlet forming part of the discharge passage. The end of the outlet port is located on the lowest side of the developer feed tank. The developer housing is rotatable about its axis of rotation relative to the developer discharge housing. A track is provided on each of the opposite sides of the housing to discharge the developer.
