SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE FLIGHT CONTROL OF A CONVERTIBLE FIXED-AIR DRONE ALLOWING A STABILIZED CONTINUOUS TRANSITION BETWEEN A VERTICAL STATIONARY FLIGHT AND A HORIZONTAL CRUISING FLIGHT
A flight control system is configured to control the flight of a convertible fixed-wing drone (12), having two left and right wings each supporting a forward propeller and a rear edge deflection flap. The control system comprises an attitude regulator (154) of the drone (12) to control respectively the angles of roll ϕm, pitch θ m and yaw Ψm, measured by one or more sensors on set angles of roll ϕd, pitch θ d and yaw Ψd. The first attitude regulator (154) comprises a first MFC SISO modelless control device (162) with one input-one output for regulating and slaving the pitch angle θ m measured on the set pitch angle θ d by determining a first command δn of symmetrical deflection of the left and right flaps, applied with the same sign on said left and right flaps.
