STEP SIZE ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADAPTIVE EQUALIZER, SIGNAL RECEIVER AND SYSTEM

The present application belongs to the technical field of communications, and provided are a step size adjustment method and apparatus for an adaptive equalizer, a signal receiver and a system. The solution may detect a change in the rate of state of polarization (RSOP) and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a channel in a data communication system, and may adjust the step size of the adaptive equalizer according to the change in the RSOP and the SNR, so that the adaptive equalizer may update coefficients thereof according to the adjusted step size. Compared to the fixed step size in the related art, the solution provided by the present application may enable the coefficients of the adaptive equalizer to be able to promptly adapt to changes in the SOP and the SNR of the channel, which improves the coefficient convergence performance of the adaptive equalizer, and thereby improves the signal transmission performance of the data communication system.
