摘要

An interactive prediction unit (40) which serves as a vehicle behavior evaluation device calculates, by means of an approximation function unit (50), a reward that takes the running condition of another vehicle into consideration with respect to a possible future behavior of an own vehicle. The behavior of the own vehicle is evaluated on the basis of the calculated reward. The approximation function unit (50) is trained on the basis of running condition/reward data that have been prepared by running a simulation under multiple environments in which there are different surrounding environments of the own vehicle and are different combinations between the situation of the own vehicle and the situation of another vehicle, and by giving a high reward to an own vehicle situation where the own vehicle was able to avoid physical contact with another vehicle, while giving a reward lower than said high reward to an own vehicle situation where the own vehicle ended up coming into physical contact with another vehicle.
