When a first condition is satisfied, that is, when an engine stop command of a work machine 40 is given through a remote input interface 21 of a remote operation device 20, the operation of an engine 460 should be stopped in principle, but the operation of the engine 460 is not stopped exceptionally. Specifically, when the operator is not present at the designated position when operating the remote control mechanism 211 in the remote operation device 20, the operation of the engine 460 is stopped. On the other hand, when the operator is present at the designated position when operating the remote control mechanism 211 in the remote operation device 20, the operation of the engine 460 is continued without being stopped even though the engine operation command is given.
