The present invention relates to a variable-configuration cap device for endoscopic submucosal dissection. This device, while mounted to the tip portion of an endoscope tube inserted into the body, accommodates a cautery exposed towards the front of the tip portion of the endoscope tube, and only exposes the cautery when the cautery is being used to cauterize a target, and otherwise accommodates the cautery. The device comprises: a transparent holding cap which surrounds the tip portion of the endoscope tube and provides an accommodation space between the transparent holding cap and the outer circumferential surface of the endoscope tube; an elastic part which is installed inside the accommodation space of the transparent holding cap and outputs an elastic force; and a variable cap which is slidably installed inside the accommodation space, and is moved forward by the action of the elastic part to accommodate the cautery, or moved rearward by an external force to expose the cautery.
