Problem to be solved: to provide a method for improving the dewatering of residues (i.e. sludge) produced by conventional wastewater treatment operations.A method is provided for enhancing the dehydration of the sludge, including the steps of adding cellulase, cellulase / hemicellulase enzyme mixture, and protease to the sludge prior to conventional conditioning and dehydration operations.Diagram
