High precision screen printing is described that allows submicron uniformity of the metallization material printed on the green sheet ceramic. In some examples, a metal-containing paste is screen printed onto a ceramic green sheet with an electrical trace pattern, and the printed green sheet is processed to form a workpiece carrier pack. In some examples, printing includes applying the screen printer squeegee to the green sheet being printed in the squeegee direction while the green sheet is on the screen printer stand. This method further maps the printer base at multiple locations along the squeegee direction, identifies non-uniformities in the printer base mapping, and modifies the printer controller of the screen printer to map the printer base.
