An arrangement method for a DAC current source array, and a common-source current source array layout, for improving the linearity of a DAC and the relevant performance. The arrangement method comprises: determining the number R of rows and the number C of columns of a common-source current source array (201); dividing the common-source current source array into M sub-arrays (202); segmenting an N-bit DAC to obtain 2 X-1 groups of thermometer-type coded current sources and Y groups of binary-type coded current sources (203); distributing the 2 X-1 groups of thermometer-type coded current sources to the M sub-arrays, so that the thermometer-type coded current sources in each sub-array are arranged symmetrically to thermometer-type coded current sources in the other sub-arrays (204); arranging the Y groups of binary-type coded current sources in the M sub-arrays based on the number of binary-type coded current sources in each of the Y groups (205); uniformly arranging bias current sources in the common-source current source array (206); and arranging redundant current sources in the remaining portions in the common-source current source array excluding the binary-type coded current sources, the thermometer-type coded current sources and the bias current sources (207).
