The invention relates to a method for the high-precision calibration of a parallel kinematic mechanism, which comprises multiple parts, at least one part of which is movable and adjustable with defined adjusting parameters, wherein the position of the parts or an outer contour defined by the latter is established by means of a reference body produced or measured with high accuracy, by adjusting the or at least one adjustable part, and the associated adjusting parameters of the or each adjustable part are stored as zero-state product parameters of the parallel kinematic mechanism.
