The positive effect of the operation of orthopedic summer shoes for children is that they provide correction of foot deformity through the use of a rigid inner heel counter with extended wings and stiffeners that securely fix the child's foot and ankle joint; the presence of valves in the shoe prevents the free movement of the stiffeners up when walking, and also excludes the child's attempts to remove the rigid elements from the shoe, while the U-shaped notch, along the line of the back seam, excludes possible trauma to the lower third of the lower leg in the area of the Achilles tendon.
