To provide a method for dewatering organic sludge capable of suppressing generation of gypsum scale.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for dewatering an organic sludge, including: first, adding a polymer coagulant to the organic sludge; subjecting a mixture to a coagulation process and a concentration process; then, adding an organic coagulant having a concentration 200 mg/L or less of metals containing at least calcium, a sulfate ion concentration of 200 mg/L or less, and a cation degree of 5 meq/g or more at pH 4; and dewatering the mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
