PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy control system, an energy management method, an energy management program, an information terminal, a terminal control method, and a terminal control program in which an effect of energy saving approach promotion is high.SOLUTION: An energy control system 10 comprises a comparison unit 31, an output unit 32, a setting unit 33, and a request unit 34. The comparison unit 31 compares an actual value related to energy consumption of a user facility 5 with a target value related to the energy consumption of the user facility 5 for a challenge period. The output unit 32 outputs a comparison result of the comparison unit 31. The setting unit 33 sets the target value according to an input to an input unit 12. The request unit 34 requests for setting of the target value at request timing included at least one of the challenge period and a preparation period before the challenge period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
