PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device for an internal combustion engine which controls an ignition timing based on a parameter which varies depending on a region among parameters involved in fuel combustion. A CPU mounted on a vehicle acquires position data Pgps by GPS (S16). Next, the CPU specifies the octane number, which is a specific parameter involved in fuel combustion, from the date and time when the position data Pgps in which the vehicle is located and the position data Pgps are acquired (S18). Next, the CPU calculates the correction amount X based on the specific parameter specified in S16 (S20). The larger the octane number value, the larger the fuel correction amount is calculated, and the smaller the octane number value, the smaller the fuel correction amount is calculated. Next, the CPU substitutes the value calculated based on the correction amount X into the ignition timing, and operates the ignition device so as to generate a spark discharge in the ignition timing at the same ignition timing (S22).
