A solution polymerization process for generating an ethylene based polymer includes introducing an ethylene monomer, a hydrocarbon solvent, and a cheetah Natta catalyst to the inlet of the solution polymerization reactor.Ethylene polymers are produced by solution polymerization of ethylene monomers in hydrocarbon solvents.Thereafter, the catalyst deactivator is introduced into the outlet of the solution polymerization reactor, thereby producing by-products of hydrochloric acid.The catalyst deactivation agent comprises a long chain carboxylate and at least one cation selected from one, two, and twelve groups of IUPAC periodic tables, excluding calcium.The catalyst deactivation agent neutralizes hydrochloric acid by reducing the effectiveness of the catalyst and the chloride salt other than calcium chloride.No selection
